XLT

If the base trim isn't for you, then try the XLT trim for the 2021 Ford F250 Super Duty. On top of the base trim features, you'll get some additional ones here. One of the most notable upgrades that come standard for the XLT trim is cloth seats. Other additions include keyless entry and power mirrors for convenience.

With the Platinum trim, this is the only trim where 4-wheel drive is your only option for the drivetrain. For all other trims, although rear-wheel drive comes standard, you can pay to upgrade to 4-wheel drive. Remember the upgradable features that come with the King Ranch trim? Well, they're all standard with the Platinum trim, with the exception of the moonroof. You'll still have to pay extra for that. The packages available here are the Snow Plow Prep package, Tremor Off-Road Package, FX4 Off-Road Package, and Pro Trailer Backup Assist.


Limited

At the very top of the list for F-250SD trims is the Limited one. It's the sole trim that comes with a 6.7L turbo V8 diesel engine. Paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, it does 475 HP and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to this powerful engine, you'll get a better towing capacity of 15,000 pounds. The Limited trim also comes with 4-wheel drive.
